Read John 14-15.
God is in the process of changing us. He is cutting off the branches of our life that are not bearing fruit. These are the things that He has no use for. Things that get in the way of our relationship. He cuts off the dead branches so that he can see the healthy ones. He also prunes the healthy branches so that they grow even more. The pruning process is not always fun. Sometimes it hurts. But in the end my life is better for it. Through time, the pruned branches bring new, vibrant life.
What dead branches does God want to get rid of in your life?
What healthy branches is he in the process of pruning?

Trust. I know this is a big word and a difficult one, especially when you are sending your young daughter off to a college about four hours away. The word says to trust in him and that is my plan. he also mentions to not be afraid, will trust ing be easy when I am so far from her, according to the passage if I belive it will be easier. It is not her I am worried about, its the others who will be around her
and the new environment she will be exposed to but I also trust her and her judgements and knowing that God is on my side and hers.
As it says in this passage about the vines and the branches, they need each other to bear good fruit and the bad needs to be taken out.We need to remember what we should be doing to bear the good fruit….Jesus said to love as I have loved you. Many times we get in such a hurry and have so much to do that it becomes easy for us not to do what we should do. I know that as a wife and a mother, I should be a reflection of what God is and how he acts. I can admit that I am not perfect and it is easy to be angry, rather than show love 24/7.
